Hugo the Abominable Snowman catches Bugs and and wants to keep him as a pet in this animated recreation by animation director Chuck Jones.  Hugo's first appearance was 1961 in 'The abominable snow rabbit' and Bugs tricks him in to thinking Daffy is a pet rabbit to escape Hugo.
