WARNER BROS. 1994
In the 1957 cartoon "Birds Anonymous," an Oscar-winning, feline-based spoof on Alcoholics Anonymous, famed Warner Bros. director Friz Freleng captures the foibles, the trials and tribulations of one bird-addicted-cat named Sylvester. In his attempt to kick the "bird habit," Sylvester tries everything from going "cold turkey" (or rather, "cold Tweety"), to chaining his leg to a radiator, but nothing works. As Tweety so aptly put it: "Once a bad ol' puddy tat, always a bad ol' puddy tat." This signed, limited edition cel from Friz Freleng shows Sylvester being counselled by his "B.A." sponsor Sam to keep away from birds in general, and Tweety in particular.
