This limited edition cel began with a mater inking by Butch Hartman. This line art along with the Hanna Barbera seal, was then printed onto an Exlar sheet (or cel) through a high quality silk-screening process.
Each piece was then enhanced by hand-inking before being painter on the reverse side. 
Each "Hong Kong Phooey" is individually numbered in an edition size of only 25 Hors d Commerce pieces, and features the signatures of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera and Butch Hartman.Newly and professionally framed and matted by Michaels.

The first Limited Edition cel to feature Hong Kong Phooey, along with his trusty sidekick Spot and the fabulous Phooeymobile, Knot for Beginners not only showcases the martial arts mastermutt but also introduces to the animation world Butch Hartman, one of the brightest young stars on today's animation scene. Animating, character designing and directing, Butch has done it all in cartoons and is responsible for such cartoons like "Gramps" and Hillbilly Blue" seen on the Cartoon Network. Besides featuring the signature of Butch, each Knot for Beginners is signed by the superhero's creators, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
