RON LEE

Ronald Arlan Lee was a celebrated artist, sculptor, and manufacturer, dedicated over 45 years to creating the world’s largest and finest collection of limited-edition figurines. Born in Southern California in July 1947, Ron began his artistic journey at just 12 years old, crafting intricate ship models. As a teenager, he worked alongside his father, mastering the “lost wax” process and producing bronze sculptures of wildlife and western themes.

His playful spirit and deep love for the circus inspired the whimsical clown figurines that earned him worldwide recognition. Over the course of his career, Ron designed more than 2,000 unique creations, including beloved animation characters. More than 5 million of his works now grace the homes of passionate collectors.

Ron Lee started in Canoga Park, then moved to Chatsworth, Simi Valley, Las Vegas for 15 years, then back to Simi Valley and then to Burbank, Ca from 2009 to the end in 2023.
Ron’s artistry was driven by an unmatched passion and pride in his craft. Above all, he hoped that collectors would find as much joy in owning his creations as he found in making them.

Ron Lee passed away in 2017 and the business was carried on by his surviving widow, Jill Lee until 2023, when the company in Burbank, Ca was liquidated. All of the equiptment and surviving art was auctioned off.

Ron Lee sculptures are made from white metal, 24k gold plated, mounted on a marble/onyx base with gold plated beads on the surface with 24k gold over pewter.
All of Ron Lee's sculptures were made in America.
