Released in 1988, this piece depicts a classic Western saloon standoff where Bugs Bunny stands confidently between swinging doors. A subtle detail in the composition shows the silhouette/shadow of his iconic adversary, Yosemite Sam, cast onto the floor in front of him. The piece serves as a companion or sequel to Freleng's original "Showdown" cel concepts, which frequently featured Looney Tunes characters in Wild West confrontations.
